Michael Frizzell

Michael is a proud graduate of the University of Memphis and a lifelong Memphian with a deep love for the city and its rich history. He has been passionate about real estate for 35+ years and is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club. His extensive knowledge of the Memphis market makes him a trusted resource for buyers, sellers, and investors alike.

Michael’s journey in real estate started early—at just 13 years old, he was working with builders and real estate agents, cleaning up properties and learning the business from the ground up. Over the years, he gained hands-on experience in construction, inspected HUD housing while in college, and worked in mortgage banking from 1998 to 2007. He earned his real estate affiliate broker’s license in 2005 and continued his professional development by graduating from the Realtors Institute (GRI) and completing specialized courses in investment strategies, HUD financing, marketing, and social media. He is also an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and a Certified Relocation Specialist.

In addition to residential real estate, Michael has been actively involved in commercial property management, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. He has worked closely with city and county officials on zoning, variances, permits, and tax renewals.

Outside of real estate, Michael values family and community. He has been married for 31 years and is proud that his four adult children all live in Shelby County. He is actively involved in his church, has worked with youth programs and scouting, and has served on multiple charitable boards, including a local school board.
